Kris An Charles Investments Company Limited, A Proud Donor of the 32nd Jamaica Library Service’s National Book Reading Competition

Kris An Charles Investments Company Limited was thrilled to be a donor at the 32nd staging of the Jamaica Library Service’s National Book Reading Competition 2023. We believe that reading is fundamental to personal and professional growth and that promoting a love of reading among young people is crucial for the future of our society.

The Jamaica Library National Book Reading Competition has made a significant contribution to the academic, intellectual and social development of those who have participated over the years. Two notable participants successfully emerged as Rhode Scholars. Being a donor at this competition, allows us to support the efforts of the Jamaica Library Service as they promote literacy and education in our country. We also extremely impressed with the dedication and enthusiasm of the participants, who showed a strong commitment to reading and learning.

We also recognize how vital our public libraries are in providing access to books and educational resources to the community, regardless of their background or financial status. We believe everyone should have an opportunity to gain experience and grow and that our public libraries play a key role in making this possible.

Kris An Charles is proud to have been a donor of this year’s competition. We hope to continue with similar initiatives in the future that help to ensure that everyone has access to the resources and opportunities they need to succeed.
