2. Mechanics/Rules:

• • Only customers who apply for loans of $575,000.00 or more and have their loan disbursed within the promotional period are eligible to win prizes under this promotion, subject to the mechanics/rules outlined below.
  • Customers who are refinancing existing loans must be in good standing, i.e., the loan which is refinanced must have been paid according to the terms and conditions of the loan agreement.  
  • To be eligible to enter the promotion, customers must be 18 years and older.
  • Customers will automatically be entered into the promotion once the requirements are met.
  • Entrants will not be required to pay any additional fees (that is, outside of regular loan interest and charges) to be eligible for entry in the promotion.
  • Only one (1) entry will be allowed for each qualified loan. 

• • No third-party transfer of the entry or prizes is allowed (the entry in the competition is restricted to the borrower; therefore, the entry is non-transferable). 
  • The prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash.  
  • This promotion is only open to qualified members of the public.  
  • Employees of Kris An Charles Investments Company Limited and its Affiliate Company(s), and their immediate relatives (spouse, mother, father, sister, brother, children) are not eligible for entry in this competition.

• Method of Selection of Winners: Kris An Charles Investments Company Limited (hereafter referred to as “Kris An Charles”), under the supervision of any two members of our Management Team, will randomly select the winner from our internal loan management database, which will generate a report showing all qualified loans disbursed and eligible for entry in the competition during the period. The entries matching the guidelines stated by Kris An Charles and approved by the Betting Gaming & Lotteries Commission (BGLC) will be placed in a random number generation (RNG) function facilitated by Microsoft Access Software, and the winners for each prize will be selected as follows:

• • • On the drawing date, 3 entries will be generated by the RNG. 
    • A second set of six (6) entries will be generated by the RNG after the first three (3) entries are generated. This second set of entries will be backup winners. 

If any winner forfeits the prize or is deemed disqualified, back-up winners for that prize will be selected from the back-up winners based on the order in which the winners were drawn. If all the backup winners forfeit or are deemed disqualified, Kris An Charles Investments Company Ltd. will retain that prize.

• Method of Notifying Winners: Winners will be contacted by telephone for verification within six (6) hours after the competition draw. After each drawing, a Kris An Charles representative will attempt to call each winner three (3) consecutive times over a ten (10) minute period. If a winner cannot be contacted during these 10 minutes, they will be deemed to be disqualified, and a backup winner will be selected. 

• Additionally, after acknowledging the call, entrants will be required to correctly state the name of the promotion (Kris An Charles’ Score Big World Cup Loan). If the initial individual contacted (winner) is unable to verbally provide the name of the promotion, Kris An Charles Investments reserves the right to contact another randomly selected entrant and award that individual the prize, if he/she can fulfil the approved criteria as well as provide the Kris An Charles name of the promotion. 

• Date of Selection of Winners: Drawings for the winners will be conducted at Kris An Charles’s Corporate Office, 2 Eureka Crescent, Kingston 5, at 11:00 a.m. on the date below:

• Claiming Period: Prizes will be made available fourteen (14) business days after notification of the winners. All prizes MUST be claimed no later than thirty (30) days after the notification of winners.  If the winner does not accept the prize or claim the prize within 30 days, Kris An Charles reserves the right to retain the prize. The winner will be required to come into their branch with valid proof of identification and will be required to take a picture with their loan officer or other authorized person. The prize, however, will be received by the same method of payment as their loan disbursement.  Only the following forms of identification will be accepted: Driver’s License, Passport or National ID.
